ABOUT TANYA
Credentials
Tanya is a professional dancer and has undergone extensive Pilates training with Basi and APPI. With years of experience in both dance and Pilates, she brings a unique perspective and expertise to the practice.

As a professional dancer, Tanya has always been interested in movement and the mechanics of the body. This interest led her to explore Pilates, which she found to be the perfect complement to her dance training. She soon became passionate about the practice and wanted to share its benefits with others.
She underwent rigorous training with two leading Pilates organizations, Basi (Body Arts and Science International) and APPI (Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute). Basi is known for its comprehensive approach to Pilates, incorporating anatomy, biomechanics, and kinesiology into its curriculum. APPI, on the other hand, focuses on the use of Pilates as a form of rehabilitation and works closely with physiotherapists. She is also specialised in pre and postnatal pilates.
Through her training with these organisations, she gained a deep understanding of Pilates principles and techniques. She learned how to modify exercises to suit different body types and abilities, as well as how to use Pilates as a tool for injury prevention and rehabilitation. This knowledge has allowed her to help clients with a wide range of needs, from athletes looking to improve their performance to individuals recovering from injury or managing chronic pain.
Whether you're new to Pilates or an experienced practitioner, Tanya can help you deepen your understanding of the practice and achieve your goals. Her approach is holistic and personalized, taking into account each individual's unique needs and abilities. With her guidance, you'll develop a stronger, more flexible, and more balanced body, as well as a deeper connection to yourself and your movement.
